Coins are inserted into slots in the top of the center section of the till, and movement of the lever from side to side causes the coins to make their way into the drawer, a bell ringing at each step. The racks at the side have a glass back; it’s thought that these were used to stack counted coins. Glass is cracked and part of porcelain plaque missing. Not tested. 25 ½ x 16 x 8”.

Original marble top for till is not present, screws and decorative washers for securing of marble present. Cash register has not been tested completely. Chips and losses to glass covers. Metal number 20 label is broken off and separate. Wear, oxidization, and rusting to metal throughout cash register. Wear to buttons of till. Dirt, debris, and wear, throughout wood interior of till. "The National Cash Register Co" metal tag directly underneath till drawer is worn. Chips and scratches throughout wooden base.
